Job Purpose:
We are looking for a highly capable Fiduciary Accountant to join our in-house Client Accounts team.
The successful candidate will be part of a small team responsible for maintaining the accounting records and assisting with the preparation of Trust and Company financial statements and also some quarterly management accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping records across a diverse portfolio
- Preparing loan interest calculations and reconciling bank and loan accounts
- Reconciliation of bank and other ledger balances
- Calculation and accrual of company expenses
- Preparation of trust and company accounts in accordance with applicable legislation as delegated
- Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and relevant regulatory frameworks
- Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors to support audit and tax processes
- B Signatory
- Respond promptly to Trustee and stakeholder inquiries with financial insights and tailored reporting
Skills and Experience
- ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in fiduciary accounting
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in accounting software and financial systems.
